Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms in a high-volume outpatient setting
- Produce high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient care
- Assist with specialized procedures such as fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and 3-D mammography
- Maintain compliance with quality control activities mandated by MQSA and FDA standards
- Float to other campuses as needed, ensuring coverage and flexibility
- Observe and assist new technologists during initial exams to ensure quality
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State mammography license
- 1+ year of full-time mammography experience (2+ years preferred)
- Certification in ARRT and BLS
- Ability to perform diagnostic and screening mammograms and related procedures
- Proficiency with mammography equipment and quality control standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with stereotactic biopsy and advanced mammography techniques
- Knowledge of breast anatomy and radiographic exposure factors
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff in a high-volume environment
