Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to medical, surgical, and surgical oncology patients, including young adult through geriatric age groups
- Monitor and respond to patient needs using telemetry equipment and age-appropriate considerations
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes
- Capable of maintaining constant cardiac telemetry monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1+ years of Medical-Surgical Nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry units
