Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate nursing care to ICU patients in a 31-bed medical intensive care unit.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and EVD insertions.
• Monitor and operate ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 equipment.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float and scheduling protocols, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to perform advanced clinical procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with critical care equipment and documentation systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with patients and families.
• Flexibility to float to med/surg units as needed.
