Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit with approximately 54-62 beds
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient interactions using the Meditech electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with staff nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and procedural support
Required Qualifications
- Current and active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Proficiency in Meditech EHR systems
- Ability to handle high patient turnover and fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-volume surgical units such as gastrointestinal or bariatric surgery
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and quality assurance practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
