Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location
• Austin, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Contract / Travel – 13 weeks
• Nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac activity using GE Telemetry Monitors.
• Perform procedures such as wound vac management, CPM machine application, external fixation, and bracing.
• Document patient information accurately in the MediTech EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure-high quality patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in using Welch Allyn vital signs devices and GE Telemetry Monitoring.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Experience with wound vacs, external fixation, and bracing procedures.
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality.
