Contract, 13 weeks, Dayshift, on-call required, travel position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care for adult patients in a 34-bed unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias promptly
• Administer cardiac drips and manage respiratory needs, including advanced airway and oxygen management
• Perform procedures such as stress tests, heart caths, and other cardiac interventions
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation skills
• Respiratory therapy experience, including advanced airways and oxygen management
• Ability to handle cardiac drips (not titrated)
• Prior experience in telemetry or cardiac units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS or ALS certification preferred
• Experience with procedures such as stress tests, heart caths, CABG, thoracentesis, and chest tube management
• Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
