Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry unit patients, including those recovering from heart cath procedures and bubble studies
- Manage and monitor patients with central lines, medication drips, and chest tubes
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment details accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensuring adherence to unit policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac procedures
- Skills in managing IV pumps, PCA pumps, and chest tubes
- Knowledge of central line management and medication drips
- Positive attitude, engaged and independent work style, strong critical thinking skills
