Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing and preparing tissue samples for histological analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation and label specimens according to hospital protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory.
- Support laboratory operations during night shifts, collaborating with team members as needed.
- Adhere to shift schedules and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology.
- Certification(s) relevant to histology preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
- Knowledge of Epic charting systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
