  • Full-time, contract, days shift, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology Department for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist with procedures related to coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias, including pacemaker placements.
  • Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records using Epic or similar systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid and active nursing license in California or eligible for licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology department.
  • Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or Fluoroscopy Permit (must have applied at time of submission; pending permits considered).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and call responsibilities.
  • Experience with coronary and peripheral interventions, and pacemaker management is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar acute care hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with using Epic or other electronic charting systems.
  • Ability to adhere to strict safety and procedural protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
