Registered Nurse - NICU
Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, on-call required
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II NICU setting
• Monitor and manage neonatal vital signs, blood glucose levels, and feeding procedures
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage lines such as UVC/UAC and Central Lines
• Educate and support families through patient teaching and discharge planning
• Assist with delivery room support and well newborn assessments when needed
• Respond to emergencies including resuscitation, intubation, and stabilization of infants
  Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• 2+ years of NICU experience, preferably with cross-training in postpartum/couplet care
• BLS certification; NRP required, STABLE preferred
• Ability to work independently in a Level II NICU environment with neonates 34 weeks and above
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience with delivering neonatal procedures such as line placements, chest tube insertion, and resuscitation
• Familiarity with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and advanced NICU equipment
• Prior experience assisting with deliveries and well newborn assessments
