Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week, approximately 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units
- Manage a patient load with a 1:4 staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring safe and effective care
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and order entries
- Adhere to all unit protocols and safety regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RTO restrictions apply)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in IMC or related units
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Willing to float within scope as needed within the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing 4:1 patient ratios in ICU or IMC settings
- Previous use of Epic electronic health record system
