- Full-time, night shift, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy hospital operating room setting
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including general, gynecological, plastics, robotics, and orthopedic surgeries
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Adhere to strict hospital policies, including nicotine testing protocols and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Maryland
- 2-3 years of OR nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts confidently and independently
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with scrub duties and assisting in various surgical specialties
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- Ability to float within scope if necessary (not required)
- Prior experience in acute care hospital environments
