Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week, onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care within the operating room setting for surgical patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure a sterile environment during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operative flow and patient safety
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
- Document all procedures accurately using electronic charting system
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs within similar units or sister facilities
- Knowledge of radiation badge procedures and compliance
