Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, full-time (36-40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status throughout labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and assist with procedures as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the medical records system.
- Support new mothers and their families through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech or similar inpatient documentation systems.
- Certifications such as AWHONN Fetal Monitoring or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Ability to adapt to rotating night shifts and flexible scheduling.
- Knowledge of advanced labor and delivery procedures and equipment.
