• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour nights per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for ICU patients in a mixed unit setting, including adults and geriatrics.
• Monitor and manage patients with multi-system organ failure, including ventilated patients and those with complex diagnoses.
• Administer medications, including IV insulin protocols, vasopressors, and sedation, while titrating as needed.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, arterial line management, and IV placement.
• Interpret diagnostic data such as ABGs and EKGs; manage invasive lines including Swan-Ganz Catheters, PICC, and central lines.
• Ensure infection prevention through proper use of PPE and isolation precautions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Proficient in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, ventilator care, and complex medication protocols.
• Ability to manage invasive lines and perform critical patient assessments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MediTech documentation system and OmniCell medication system.
• Knowledge of managing post-surgical patients, including GI surgeries and renal failure cases.
• Familiarity with BIPAP and CPAP management, as well as airway suctioning techniques.
