Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to acute needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health records (Epic)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within hospital units or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license in hand
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency room or acute care nursing experience
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Must be able to pass travel compliance requirements including SSN, DOB, RTO documentation, and references
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital with a similar patient volume
- Ability to float between units and facilities
- Comfortable working night shifts and handling high-acuity cases
