- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and assess neonatal health status, respond to emergencies, and document patient care using Epic electronic charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety procedures, including compliance with necessary certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (no temp licenses accepted).
- At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes 3 of 5 holidays.
- Willingness to float between facilities within the state as required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level III NICU setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Notes
- Local radius is 50 miles; CA license required.
- Must include all RTO requests at submission; approval based on facility needs.
- Night shifts begin at 6:00 PM and end at 6:30 AM.
- Travel compliance is Tier 3; travelers must be willing to float within the state.
- Return staff policy: eligible to return after 3 months.
- Background check requires two supervisory references covering the last year.
