Key Responsibilities
• Provide bedside care to patients in the Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU (TCV ICU).
• Monitor and assess patient condition, implementing physician orders and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (Epic preferred).
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float and holiday coverage requirements.
• Comply with all safety, licensing, and credentialing standards.

Required Qualifications
• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts during the day schedule.
• Willingness to float within scope of practice as needed.
• Must be available to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• Confirmed availability for shift timing and required certifications at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior ICU experience, specifically in CVICU or cardiac care.
• BSN degree.
• Experience with VA licenses or pending licensing arrangements.
