Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU, ensuring patient stability and comfort.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery status using advanced GE monitoring equipment.
- Administer medications and intervene as needed following protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient progress and care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment, supporting a high-volume robotic surgery center with a focus on spine and joint procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- At least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
- CPR (Healthcare Provider) certification.
- ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
- Experience with GE monitoring systems and Meditech EMR.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma center experience.
- Thoracic, neuro, or pediatric recovery experience.
- Experience in a high-volume robotic surgery environment.
