Job Title
• Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location
• Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shift, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
• Operate and manage a variety of respiratory equipment including Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton, V60, Astral, CPAP, and BIPAP machines
• Administer ABGs, perform respiratory procedures, and collaborate with medical staff to develop patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system (Meditech)
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards while delivering high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience
• Valid respiratory therapist license
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Trauma experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Critical thinker with strong patient care skills
