Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, nights, 36 hours per week, shift every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional float to various Med-Surg units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders).
- Work night shifts with every other weekend required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR; refresher classes or one-on-one training are not provided.
- Adhere to unit protocols for telemetry and stepdown patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry data (test will be conducted on day one).
- Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory; candidates must demonstrate this during the referral process.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting on Medical-Surgical units.
- Flexibility to float between units as needed.
