Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Zanesville, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week, every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care on the 4 South Cardiac unit, with occasional float to various Med-Surg units.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and step-down patient data accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
- Document patient information accurately using Epic EMR system.
- Follow all protocols related to BLS and ACLS certification requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
- Proven proficiency with Epic EMR system (refresher training or 1:1 sit-in not options).
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry.
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience in Cardiac units or similar high-acuity settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
