Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for surgical flap patients, spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds, and low-acuity burn patients.
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and manage wound care, bowel programs, and burn-related treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain high standards of care.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification.
- Strong background in Medical Surgical nursing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with spinal cord injury patients and wound care, including surgical interventions.
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and burn patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy medical floor environment.
