- Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult patients with complex GI diagnoses in a 21-bed inpatient unit
- Collaborate with healthcare team using a modified modular nursing model
- Manage patient care in a Level I Trauma Center with a focus on gastroenterology and bariatrics
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system
- Work rotating holiday shifts and weekends as required
- Float within scope to meet unit needs and ensure optimal patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in holiday rotation and weekend scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in medical-surgical or gastrointestinal units
- Prior work in a teaching or Magnet hospital environment
- Ability to adapt to modular nursing models and EMR systems
- Prior experience with patient populations involving bariatric and autologous islet cell therapies
