Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the perioperative team to facilitate patient throughput and surgical schedule flow.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and act as a preceptor for new team members, assisting in their orientation.
• Maintain surgical preferences, including initiating, revising, or discontinuing surgical cards.
• Perform both direct patient care and administrative functions to support surgical efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Surgical Services Manager to oversee staffing, supervision, and scheduling of clinical support staff.
• Support and improve surgical processes to enhance patient safety and clinical quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure in good standing.
• AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years OR nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, or interventional pain management procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Lab (desired but not required).
• Certification in CNOR and CRNFA preferred.
