Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care within the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring throughout surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform scrubbing and circulating duties as trained.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday and weekend coverage requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Radiation badge (to be provided by agency).
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Willingness to work at least one holiday period.
- Must have SCRUB experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with Level 1 trauma patients.
- Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, neuro, ortho, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting systems.
