Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Level I Trauma Center, specializing in transplant, nephrology, and urology patients within an intermediate PCU/medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patients closely using bedside monitors and central systems, ensuring safe and effective care for pre- and post-operative transplant patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient management on nights, including responding to emergent needs and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including charting in EPIC and following all safety and compliance guidelines.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, maintaining flexibility within staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• American Heart Association (AHA) certification in ACLS and BLS.
• Ability to work 3 night shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in transplant or critical care units.
• Knowledge of EPIC charting system.
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma or Magnet hospital setting.
