Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Chesapeake, VA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract with possible extension
- Nights shift, 3x12 or 4x12 schedule (OT after 48 hours on 4x12)
- Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays included
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting
- Manage patient assessments, treatments, and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Manage IV starts and interpret telemetry data
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent RN experience in a hospital setting
- Compact or VA state nursing license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- EPIC proficiency (no exceptions)
- Must include Qualivis Cover Sheet and current NURSYS report with RTO details
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with renal and diabetic patient care
- Prior travel nursing experience
