Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the Operating Room for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain sterile environment standards and adhere to facility protocols.
• Complete required documentation and assist with perioperative procedures.
• Float within scope to multiple hospital locations as needed within a 20-mile radius.
• Work 12-hour shifts, with 2-3 on-call days per week.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of submission.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date.
• Nicotine-free and negative 10-panel drug screen required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or Level Trauma facility.
• Comfortable with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, teaching environment.
