- Full-time, Contract, Onsite, Night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting with a typical 3x12 night shift schedule.
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 in emergencies.
- Monitor telemetry, start IVs, and handle other unit-specific nursing skills.
- Read and interpret cardiac strips to assess patient status.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using Cerner EMR.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (WV or Compact license; pending license acceptable).
- Minimum of 1.5-2+ years of recent hospital RN experience.
- 1 year of experience in telemetry and stepdown units.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification via American Heart Association.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required.
