• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts (3 days per week, 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care nursing for ICU, PCU, or Stepdown unit patients.
• Monitor patient progress and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license (must be in hand).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, LA Fire Card (within last 30 days).
• Ability to fulfill weekend commitments every other week.
• Must be willing to float within skill set across facilities.
• Must disclose license and background checks upfront.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital.
• Experience working with Epic electronic health record system.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.

Additional Information

• Travel compliance requirements: SSN and DOB needed.
• Flexibility to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, New Year’s Eve & Day.
• Must be prepared to float between facilities within a 50-mile radius.
