Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department setting.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs, delivering appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality and efficient patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Support special populations, including patients with cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH certifications.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• STEMI and stroke care experience preferred.
• Ability to pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam required by the facility.
• Flexibility to work day shifts with possible coverage on weekends and holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a STEMI and stroke-certified facility.
• Previous care for cancer, sepsis, and medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of special care populations and behavioral health.
• Familiarity with cath lab and women’s health units.

Travel & Compliance Notes

• Full compliance documentation required by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date.
• Candidates must have license in hand upon submission.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted.
• Possible float to other hospital campuses as needed.
• All RN candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance.
• Travel RTO requests are due at the time of submission; no post-submission RTO changes accepted.
• Education verification and background checks are mandatory before onboarding.
