Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, following facility protocols and standards.
- Monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, and perform assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Document patient statuses accurately in electronic health records.
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations, including ICU certifications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and work during major holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Certificates: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale (preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and flexible with floating between units if necessary.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and major holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
- Prior ICU float experience within hospital settings.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
