Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individualized education programs for students with special needs
- Collaborate with support staff and families to ensure student success
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Promote an inclusive learning environment tailored to diverse student needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid state special education certification/license
- Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and compliance standards
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in school-based settings in Texas
- Bilingual proficiency a plus
- Familiarity with latest special education techniques and tools
