Key Responsibilities
- Assist in treatment planning and dose calculations for radiation therapy patients.
- Develop and implement radiation treatment plans under the supervision of radiation oncologists.
- Utilize specialized dosimetry software to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Collaborate with radiation therapists and medical staff to ensure accurate and safe delivery of radiation doses.
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatment plans and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State license or eligibility for license pending.
- Certification as a Dosimetrist (ARRT or equivalent).
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Dosimetrist.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced radiation techniques such as SRS, SBRT, and IMRT.
- Proficiency in treatment planning software (e.g., Eclipse, BrachyVision).
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards.
