Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days shifts (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
- Monitor critically ill patients, including cardiac and neurological cases
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and post-operative care
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential coverage at sister facilities
- Adhere to holiday and weekend rotation schedules
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Compact state nursing license
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience; 2+ years preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience in cardiac and neuro patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous SICU or ICU experience
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced critical care environment
