Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for a variety of medical-surgical and orthopedic/spine patients in a busy hospital setting.
- Administer treatments and procedures including assessments, wound care, and use of specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Assist in patient transitions and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Support hospital standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience on orthopedic/spine units or trauma patients.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new protocols and equipment.
