Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 16-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Level 2 unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal health using GE monitors and CPN documentation system
- Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures, medication administration, and supporting NP procedures
- Maintain neonatal care including phototherapy, bubble CPAP, tube feeding, and care for preterm babies
- Initiate IVs, manage low blood sugar babies, and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Follow unit policies and guidelines while ensuring safe, compassionate patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery or Level 2 maternal care
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Current nursing license in good standing in Tennessee (or eligible for licensure)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Postpartum care experience
- Advanced skills in IV initiation, neonatal procedures, and medication management
- Experience with preterm infant care and low blood sugar management
