Physical Therapist Therapist
OT Position Description
Qualifications:
-
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
-
Must hold valid and clear Georgia licensure for Occupational Therapy
-
Must hold a valid NOTCB certification
-
Experience in school system preferred
Performance Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Identify students requiring school based services through assessment evaluations and analysis
-
Write assessment reports identifying student’s needs and develop treatment strategies to improve the student’s functional abilities and their ability to learn
-
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain progress reports to determine termination or continuation of services
-
Maintain proper records and files accurately and complete Medicaid billing promptly.

Travel within the county is required.

Perform other duties as assigned by Principal or Supervisor.
Other Functions:
Daily attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the goals of the work unit are met.
Working Environment:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
