Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend shifts as required.
- Float within scope to different units or sister facilities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina nursing license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (preferably 2 years).
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including holiday rotations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Comfortable floating within scope based on facility needs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
