Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient management.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operative procedures.
- Adhere to all unit policies, including weekend and on-call coverage as required.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OR nursing experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 3 years of recent cardiovascular OR experience.
- Experience with off-pump CABG procedures.
- Vascular surgery experience, including vascular bypass and carotid endarterectomy.
