Schedule / Job Type
- Full-Time, Night Shifts (3x12 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, medications, and drips, ensuring no titration is involved
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the charting system
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations during night shifts
- Float within scope to other units or facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Missouri or Illinois (compact license preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience
- BCLS and NIH certifications are required; ACLS and CPI are preferred
- Proficiency in reading cardiac rhythms and managing cardiac medications and drips without titration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC electronic charting system experience
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
