Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting.
• Circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal workflow.
• Assist with scrub duties as needed, supporting surgical teams across various specialties.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering multiple units including trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, ENT, and more.
• Comply with hospital policies, including holiday coverage and call responsibilities.
• Maintain current certifications and licenses required for operative nursing practice.

Required Qualifications

• Active IN-state Nursing license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience, with at least 2 years preferred.
• Trauma Level I experience highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Circulating nurse experience required; scrub experience preferred.
• Willing to work nights (4x10-hour shifts).
• Ability to float within scope across multiple surgical specialties.
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current experience in high-acuity trauma settings.
• Strong clinical skills across multiple surgical disciplines, excluding CV & Transplant.
• Experience with Cerner charting systems.
