• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week), Contract (13 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit with ICU-like acuity.
• Manage and monitor patients with complex respiratory, cardiovascular, and post-operative needs, including high-acuity conditions like respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, and post-surgical care.
• Administer medications, including vasoactive drips, insulin, blood products, and other IV therapies, following protocols.
• Recognize and treat dysrhythmias and operate bedside telemetry monitors.
• Perform procedures such as arterial line management, trach care, chest tube management, and use of non-invasive airway devices.
• Collaborate with rapid response teams to provide emergent patient interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU/Stepdown or telemetry nursing experience.
• Valid RN license with current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with arterial lines, vasoactive drips, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia management.
• Ability to perform IV starts, insulin protocols, blood product administration, and manage central lines.
• Competency in using Epic or similar electronic health records.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in post-operative, neuro, ortho, or GYN/GU surgical units.
• Familiarity with rapid response protocols and advanced airway management, including NIV and trachs.
• Previous travel nursing experience accepted, first-time travelers considered.
