Full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients on the Observation Unit, focusing on short stays up to two midnights
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, nausea, vomiting, post-procedure recovery, and other acute conditions
- Interpret telemetry dysrhythmias and start IVs, including PICC line management
- Administer chemotherapy and radiation symptom management, and provide palliative and pain control
- Collaborate with team members, including APPs and supervising physicians, to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care
- Assist with occasional float to the Emergency Department to support inpatient Med/Surg tele patients
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license with either a valid Ohio license or a compact license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
- Skills in telemetry interpretation, starting IVs, PICC line management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with oncology patient care, chemotherapy/radiation symptom management, and post-procedure recovery
- Ability to adapt to floating requirements and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information
- Travel compliance is strict; candidates outside Ohio or non-responsive to credentialing instructions risk delays or cancellations
- Fingerprinting and credentialing are required immediately upon contract signing
- RTO (Remaining Time Off) requests must be included at submission and built into the contract
- References: Two professional references required, including at least one from a leadership role
- Scrubs are not provided; navy blue/white attire preferred
