Registered Nurse ICU

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shifts, 12.5-hour shifts, every other weekend, float as needed, no scheduled call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in ICU, including managing post-heart cath recovery, post-op open heart surgery, ventilated patients, and vasoactive medication titration
- Utilize advanced equipment such as EPIC electronic medical records, B.Braun pumps, Avea ventilators, Gemstar epidural, and patient monitoring systems
- Float across multiple units including ICU, IMCU, CVICU, ED, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Post Surgical, Ortho Neuro, and BHU as needed
- Maintain professional standards and deliver compassionate patient care adhering to operational protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oregon nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years critical care experience, including post-heart cath recovery, post-op heart surgery management, long-term ventilated patient care, and vasoactive medication management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Swan Ganz catheters and patient management of TEA, AAA, and general surgery patients
- Prior experience floating between different ICU units and medical-surgical settings
- Familiarity with critical care equipment such as ventilators and computerized charting systems
