Interim Director of Hospice and Home Health

Full-time, contract (interim), onsite, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee hospice and home health operations to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations
- Manage staff, including supervision and guidance for nursing and administrative personnel
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure adherence to all licensing standards and company policies
- Serve as a point of contact for patient and family needs, providing leadership during transitional periods
- Coordinate with executive leadership to achieve organizational goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska nursing license
- Five years of current nursing experience, preferably in hospice and/or home health
- Minimum of two years of management or director-level experience in healthcare
- Experience in hospice and/or home health settings is required
- Call or on-call availability as part of the role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior directorship or leadership role in hospice or home health services
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
