- Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical/surgical patients, including behavioral health cases on a 32-bed inpatient unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice, utilizing age- and population-specific standards.
- Float to all Medical-Surgical units within Fargo as needed, providing flexible staffing support.
- Accurately operate EMR systems, telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, and other unit-specific equipment.
- Maintain safety standards with private rooms, gait belts, and safe mobility practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital (250+ beds).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Valid RN license (ND or compact state).
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a busy hospital environment, handling a variety of med/surg and behavioral cases.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with telemetry monitoring.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including day and night rotations, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Notes
- Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local travel rates apply for those living 60-80 miles away.
- Prior employment with Sanford Health requires an end date at least 6 months before submitting.
- All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
