Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on cardiac and stepdown patients.
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and manage critical drips with skilled precision.
- Utilize GE cardiac monitors and Hospira IV pumps to support patient treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital PCU or similar setting.
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and experience with critical drips.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work independently, confidently, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pre- and post-cardiac cath procedures and pacemaker patient care.
- Prior HCA or hospital corporation experience.
- Comfortable with EMR systems, specifically Expanse.
