Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement occupational therapy care for patients.
- Supervise volunteers, students, support staff, and assistants involved in therapy services.
- Interpret and implement physician orders while ensuring safe and effective care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and communicate professionally.
- Use resources efficiently and contribute to a positive therapy environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- OT License in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Acute care experience preferred.
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations, including trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, and general med/surg cases.
